Travelers Rest has changed a great deal. The Swamp Rabbit Trail and the pull of the mountains turned a small town north of Greenville into somewhere people move to deliberately, and the housing has followed: new construction, substantial renovation of older stock, and a lot of outdoor-oriented work.
That outdoor emphasis is the distinctive thing for a contractor. Decks, screened porches, outdoor kitchens, hardscape, pools and landscape work are bought here by people who chose the area precisely because of where it is, and they buy them well. It is also the most photogenic work in the Upstate, and the season for photographing it runs most of the year.
