What Is JobTread?

JobTread is job management software used by remodelers, builders and specialty trades to run estimates, budgets, schedules and daily logs. Crews upload photos to the job as part of documenting the work.

That last part is why it matters for marketing. The photos are already being taken, already being uploaded, and already organized by job. The hardest problem in marketing a contracting business – getting content out of the field – is already solved as a side effect of running the work.

What it does not do

It is not a marketing tool, and it does not try to be. There is no scheduler, no branding, no publishing.

So for a JobTread shop the raw material is sitting there and nothing turns it into anything. PostIQ reads those photos and publishes from them, which is the whole reason we built for JobTread first – here is what that looks like in practice.

Where the photos end up

The destination that matters for most of them is the Business Profile, where a recent photo of real work is the strongest signal a company is operating. What Google will accept there is documented on its own pages.
