Brick, NJ — 2027 Home Services Marketing Outlook

Lagoon-front houses, post-war ranches, and a waterfront edge that has mostly been rebuilt.

Brick is largely a post-war township — ranches, splits and Capes from the 1960s and 1970s — with a lagoon-front edge along the Metedeconk and Barnegat Bay that behaves like a different market entirely. The waterfront stock has been raised, rebuilt or substantially repaired over the last decade. The inland stock is at the age where everything mechanical is due at once.

For a contractor that is two distinct arguments. Inland it is replacement: roof, siding, heating, kitchen, in a house whose neighbors have an identical copy. On the water it is elevation, exterior materials, and work that has to survive the environment it sits in.

Elevation and flood zone drive a large share of what is possible near the water, and the FEMA Flood Map Service Center is the reference a homeowner can check for themselves. Permits go through the township under the state Uniform Construction Code; the 13VH number goes on the advertising.

See remodelers and HVAC companies, or Ocean County for the wider market.
